Is it normal to have horrible body odor after having a baby?. You mentioned that you have a six month old and you're exclusively breastfeeding and ever since your baby was born you noticed that it's just harder to feel clean. Hormone levels can definitely affect the amount that you sweat. Typically your hormones start to resolve after you've had a baby but sometimes you don't notice a difference until you stop breastfeeding because there are different hormones governing your body during that time. If you're concerned about it talk with your doctor and they may be able to recommend certain types of prescription deodorants that will help you feel a little bit better. In the meantime continue to shower daily, use mild soap, try not to use anything too strong because actually those can be harsh on your skin and cause even more problems. Also wear breathable underwear and breathable clothes and do what you can to stay cool. Good luck with everything and if you have more questions for me in the future, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/intermountainmoms and recommend us to your friends and family too.
